My old man works at a International service shop and gets to see lots of older rigs from International's not just commercial trucks days of the past. This new project is pretty awesome, 1952 Cab-over Cummins.

The guy who is building this up is a retired farmer who bought some more land and this truck was sitting under some trees in the back of the property. He cleaned the body all up and decided he needed something that would haul a 5th wheels and a motor bike. The motor was shot and wasn't really all that powerful so he went and got a Cummins motor from the Cummins shop across the street from the International shop.

These pictures are from the work in progress about a year ago, it is now hauling the trailer and the farmer rigged up a ramp and storing system to keep the Triumph directly behind the cab. This man is your Jalop of the day.

I love old stub nose trucks. This would be a nightmare to use if you had to do any serious backing in or out with a trailer, but it sure looks cool.

IH made a lot of neat cabovers, I must say.

One of my favorites is the Sightliner - not because it's that classic a look, but because it's so rare and so damn weird.
